Early morning spent fasting to prepare for bloodwork related to reestablishing life insurance. When the nurse for the insurance exam weighed me--in clothes and shoes with wallet and keys and checkbook in pockets--her scale read 265.


Brunch: a handful of grapes
Lunch @ El Torito: three tacos (two al carbón, one pescado), chips & salsa, Diet Coke
Snack: a shot of pancake syrup and a bunch of grapes
Exercise: afternoon gym
Supper: Lean Cuisine Three-meat Pizza and a Corona
Evening Snack (where it really falls apart): four dark chocolate and vanilla ice cream Dove Bars
